Two Plans: Core and Pro
Wellthplan now comes in two plans. Core is the plan itself — budgets, the cashflow calendar, goals, alerts, and Benjamin — from $8.33 a month. Pro adds everything for the household: shared plans, voice, custom rules, texts from Benjamin, and the Rundown.
Since launch, Wellthplan has had one price. That was the right call while we were building — everyone got everything, and we learned what people actually use. The answer turned out to be two different things.
Most of you open the app for the plan: Safe to Spend, the cashflow calendar, budgets, goals, and a quick word with Benjamin. A smaller group runs a household on it — a partner linking their own accounts, voice chats on the drive home, rules that re-sort transactions automatically, a Rundown every period. Charging both groups the same price meant the first group was paying for things they never opened.
So starting today there are two plans.
Core — the plan, from $8.33/mo
Core is Wellthplan as most people use it, at a lower price than we've ever offered:
- $99.99 a year (that's $8.33 a month), or
- $14.99 month to month
You get the whole plan: Safe to Spend and the budget dial, the cashflow calendar, budgets with Needs and Wants, subscriptions and bills, goals, Apple Wallet and email alerts, the home-screen widget, and Benjamin in chat. Nothing in Core is a trial version of itself.
Pro — everything for the household
Pro is the plan you've been using if you subscribed before today, with a name that finally says what it is:
- $199.99 a year ($16.67 a month), or
- $24.99 month to month
Pro is everything in Core, plus the features built for more than one person and more than one plan:
- Shared plans — extra spaces, and members who can link their own bank accounts and edit the plan alongside you
- Voice chat with Benjamin
- Custom rules that categorize and classify transactions the way you would
- Texts from Benjamin — alerts and missions delivered as messages, not just push notifications
- The Rundown — your period-end review
- Sidenotes on every screen, and editable Needs/Wants category groupings
- Benjamin's look and mind — the Pro skins, and your pick of the model he thinks with
- Nearly three times the monthly Benjamin credits (3,500 vs. 1,250 on Core)
If you already subscribe
Nothing changes. You keep the price you signed up at, and your account is Pro — every feature above, no action needed.
Switching plans
You can move between Core and Pro any time from Account → Subscription in the app. Upgrades take effect immediately, prorated for the time left in your period; downgrades are scheduled for your next renewal, so you never lose time you've paid for. If you subscribed through the App Store, you'll change plans in your Apple subscription settings as usual. Gifted subscriptions from advisors now come in either tier as well.
Still 14 days free
Both plans start with the same 14-day free trial, cancel anytime. If you're not sure which one you need, start on Core. The moment you invite a partner or ask Benjamin for a voice chat, the app will tell you exactly what Pro adds and let you switch in a tap.
