About us

Financial clarity shouldn’t be a luxury good.

Good financial advice has always existed — it’s just been reserved for people who already have money. We built Wellthplan so anyone can wake up knowing exactly where they stand and what to do next.

Needs, Wants, Savings

A budget framework simple enough to keep using in month nine.

Benjamin

A coach that reads your real accounts and answers in plain language.

The Rundown

The weekly five minutes that replaces the money argument.

Built for couples

Two separate logins, one shared plan — because money is rarely a solo decision.

Why we started

Most people don't need more data. They need an answer.

Personal finance apps got very good at showing people charts. Charts don’t tell you whether you can replace the tires this month, or whether the vacation puts your emergency fund behind. So people keep doing what they’ve always done: guessing, and hoping.

Meanwhile, the people who get real answers are the ones who can afford a professional on retainer. That gap is the whole reason Wellthplan exists. We took the questions a good advisor answers — what’s safe to spend, what’s the trade-off, am I on pace — and made them something your phone can answer at 9pm on a Tuesday.

Not another dashboard. A plan you can actually follow, and a coach who knows your numbers.

What we believe

Four principles we design against

Simple beats complete

Three buckets you’ll actually use are worth more than forty line items you’ll abandon in March.

Teach, don’t scold

Money is emotional enough. When something goes sideways we explain why it happened and what to do next — so you learn the mechanics instead of just feeling bad about coffee.

Your data is yours

Read-only connections, no selling data to advertisers, and a subscription so our incentives match yours.

Advice, not products

You’ll never get a credit card offer or a cash advance pitch from us. We won’t put a product in front of you that works against the plan we just helped you build.

Who we are

Founded by two people who kept having the same conversation

Wellthplan is a small team, on purpose. Small enough that a support email reaches someone who can change the product — and every feature starts with a question a real customer asked us.

How we handle your money data

The part we won't compromise on

Asking someone to connect their bank accounts is asking for a lot of trust. We've built the product so that trust costs you as little as possible.

Read-only, through Plaid

We never see your bank credentials and we can’t move a dollar — by design, not by policy.

Not for sale

Your transactions aren’t a revenue stream. No advertisers, no data brokers, no exceptions.

Leave whenever

Unlink an account or delete everything from one screen. No retention calls, no dark patterns.

Part of something bigger

We're part of the AOG family of companies

Wellthplan is a partner company in Associate Owners Group — a network of insurance agencies, broker-dealers, RIAs, and technology firms under a shared equity structure, where the people who help build the business share in its upside.

For us it means we ship a consumer app with real advisors, planners, and agency owners next door — the people who see what households actually get wrong with money, every day. Their feedback shapes what we build.

What that gives you

Ownership, not extraction

AOG’s premise is that the people who build the business should own it. We’re built to last, not to flip.

Professional expertise on tap

Licensed advisors and planners across the network pressure-test the guidance in the app.

A path to a real person

When a question outgrows an app, there’s a professional in the family who can take it.
