What is Wellthplan?
Wellthplan is a shared-finance app for households, partners, roommates, and families. It helps you connect accounts, track spending together in shared Spaces, set goals, and get personalized coaching from our AI assistant, Finn. By accessing or using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
Who is Finn?
Finn is Wellthplan's built-in AI financial assistant. You can chat with Finn inside the app to ask questions like "How much did we spend on groceries this month?", "Are we on track for our savings goal?", or "Find subscriptions I should cancel." Finn is for informational and educational purposes and is not a licensed financial advisor.
How do I create an account and sign in?
Wellthplan uses your US mobile phone number. Enter your number, then enter the one-time code we text you. After your first sign-in you can enable Face ID / Touch ID to unlock the app on subsequent launches.
I didn't receive my verification code. What should I do?
1. Make sure you entered a valid US mobile number (non-VoIP). 2. Wait 60 seconds and tap Resend Code. 3. Check that SMS from shortcodes is not being filtered by your carrier. 4. Still stuck? Email support@wellthplan.com with the phone number you tried.
How do I link a bank, credit card, or investment account?
In the app, open Accounts → Add Account. Wellthplan uses Plaid, an industry-standard service used by thousands of financial apps, to securely connect to your financial institution. You'll log in through Plaid's secure interface — Wellthplan never sees or stores your bank username or password.
My bank isn't connecting or keeps disconnecting.
Most connection issues are resolved by reauthenticating through Plaid: 1. Go to Accounts, tap the account that shows an error, and follow the Reconnect prompt. 2. If your bank recently required MFA or a password change, complete that on your bank's website first, then reconnect. 3. If the problem persists, email support@wellthplan.com with your bank name so we can check for known outages.
Can I remove a linked account?
Yes. Open Accounts, select the account, and tap Remove. Transactions tied to that account will stay in your history unless you delete your full account.
How much does Wellthplan cost?
Monthly: $19.99 / month. Annual: $191.99 / year (works out to about $15.99 / month). Every new user gets a 30-day free trial. You won't be charged during the trial.
When am I charged?
f you start a trial, your card is authorized but not charged. Your first charge happens at the end of the 30-day trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. After that, your plan renews automatically (monthly or annually).
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
n the app, go to Settings → Billing → Manage Subscription. That opens our secure billing portal where you can switch plans, update payment methods, or cancel. You keep access until the end of your current paid period.
How do I get a refund?
If you were charged by mistake or just within the last few days, email support@wellthplan.com with the email on your account and we'll review it case-by-case.
What is my WellthScore?
our WellthScore is a simple, at-a-glance number that reflects how well your household is doing across saving, spending, debt, and goals. It's meant as a gentle nudge, not a credit score — it doesn't affect your credit in any way.
Are notifications and alerts customizable?
Yes. Go to Settings → Notifications to control spending alerts, bill reminders, and Finn's proactive nudges. You can also control iOS-level permissions in the Settings app.
